THE HAXTON FAMILY
Paul & Trina Haxton were involved in a tragic car accident on December 24, 2010 in Camden, DE. The accident sadly took the life of Paul and left his wife Trina hospitalized and paralyzed with a severe spinal cord injury. Their two small children Lyndsey, 6, & Haley, 4, were in the back seat but thankfully not hurt. After the accident, Tina was flown to Baltimore to the University of Maryland's Medical Center's Shock Trauma Unit where she underwent several extensive spinal surgeries. She then was moved to Kernan Hospital in Maryland where she continues her rehabilitation journey today. Trina and her beautiful girls are residents of the Dove Run Community of Middletown and are expected to come home or be moved to a more local rehabilitation center to continue her journey.

THE 5K WALK/FUN IS FROM 10 AM TO 2 PM
Registration begins at 9 AM
The course will wind thru the streets of the community of Dove Run. Strollers and wagons are welcome. Walk as far as you can.

FAMILY FUN DAY EVENTS ARE FROM 11 AM to 2 PM
$5.00 bracelets can be purchased for the kids and lets them participate in all the fun! There will be face painting, moon bounces, pics with local and national pageant queens, magician acts, balloon man, local food vendors and community baked goods.
